Work Experience

Founder and Principal Engineer 2018 - 2023

Roobster AG l Switzerland/USA

In my most recent role as the founder of a cutting-edge engineering services company, I directed the system design and prototyping of an autonomous people transporter. I defined the specification of the product, designed all mechanical components, defined all electrical components, managed the assembly and testing of the prototypes. My entrepreneurial talents were further demonstrated as I procured funding, oversaw a dedicated team, and created an innovative two-wheeled e-skateboard. In addition to these achievements, I also performed a thorough feasibility study for an Automated Tennis Ball Retrieval System, further emphasizing my analytical skills and adaptability across a range of engineering projects. With a multifaceted background in engineering and design, I have extensive experience in milling parts and metal sheet components design. I have been deeply involved in the system definition, testing, and assembly processes. My expertise also encompasses battery technology, software definition, sensor applications, and electric motor integration. Furthermore, I am well-versed in ensuring products adhere to safety standards and industry regulations, emphasizing both functionality and compliance.

Chief Technical Officer 2014 - 2018

KNF Micro Systems l Reiden, Switzerland

In this position, I oversaw the growth of the technical department by increasing the team size from three to eight dedicated professionals. I played a key role in establishing a state-of-the-art laboratory designed for precision measurements. Under my guidance, the team successfully led the development of several new diaphragm pumps, especially the NMP03, the market's smallest diaphragm pump. My expertise in drive technology, advanced simulation, and measurement techniques were essential to achieving these milestones. With expertise in electric motors, drivers, and materials like plastics and elastomers, I also possess a strong grounding in thermodynamics and system integration, enabling me to deliver holistic engineering solutions.

Project Manager 2010 - 2014

Jura AG of Switzerland l Niederbuchsiten, Switzerland

My position involved leading a specialized team that managed the project from the design phase to mass production. Our primary responsibility was overseeing all new product introductions, ensuring each stage of development was seamless and efficient.
