2-Wheeled e-Skateboard

Roobster was founded with a bold vision: to create the market's lightest, most compact, and effortlessly convenient electrical micro-mobility vehicle. This ambitious goal demanded that we surpass the slimness of traditional e-skateboards while eliminating the handlebar commonly found on conventional e-scooters. Our innovative answer to this challenge took the form of the Roobster, a remarkable two-wheeled electrical skateboard.

The Roobster was engineered to perfection, featuring a unique speed control system based on force sensors embedded in the footboard. At a mere 7 kilograms, it boasted a commendable range of 8 miles and a top speed of 15 miles per hour.

Following promising tests with a fully functional prototype, we took the critical step of filing a patent for our intricate steering mechanism. With secured funding in place, we assembled a talented team that included a marketing manager, designer, and communication officer.

Through close collaboration with suppliers both locally and in Asia, we meticulously designed and manufactured a new generation of Roobster models, poised for a small-scale production run. These models received overwhelming praise and positive feedback during various test events.

However, despite our strong start and promising progress, the project faced an unexpected hurdle. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic coincided with the launch of our crowdfunding campaign, leading to its unfortunate lack of success. Regrettably, this setback forced us to halt the project temporarily.
